It's that time of the year again! Professionals armed with the belief and hope to make a difference and improve the professional world gather from all over the UK to Edinburgh to join the #lascot conference in the hope of leaving with a reignited innovation fire and a fistful of practical tips to try at their workplace.
I've been attending every year since I moved to Scotland, and before that, I used to participate in the sister conference in Cambridge. But this year feels very different...
For the first time, I'm attending as a free agent and looking for the next adventure!
I've been lucky enough to be selected as a reserve speaker at Lean Agile Scotland and as an actual speaker at Agile Cambridge, which means attendance freebies for me!!! Couldn't have happened at a more perfect time, as I'm now "flying solo."
Before delving into my session notes, shout out to the Border Crossing UX sponsor table! They were handing out little lovely plants to the conference participants, which was a winning move with me.
For easier processing and for me to sustainably kickstart this blog, I'll be adding my notes and thoughts for each of the sessions I attended across different posts. So stay tuned!
